And in the first^H7223 day^H3117 there shall be to you a holy^H6944 convocation,^H4744 and in the seventh^H7637 day^H3117 a holy^H6944 convocation;^H4744 no manner of work^H4399 shall be done^H6213 in them, save^H389 that which every man^H5315 must eat,^H398 that only may be done^H6213 by you.

And I will make^H5414 your cities^H5892 a waste,^H2723 and will bring^H8074 your sanctuaries^H4720 unto desolation,^H8074 and I will not smell^H7306 the savor^H7381 of your sweet odors.^H5207

this is the burnt-offering^H5930 of every sabbath,^H7676 besides the continual^H8548 burnt-offering,^H5930 and the drink-offering^H5930 thereof.

Observe^H8104 the month^H2320 of Abib,^H24 and keep^H6213 the passover^H6453 unto Jehovah^H3068 thy God;^H430 for in the month^H2320 of Abib^H24 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 brought thee forth^H3318 out of Egypt^H4714 by night.^H3915

and to offer^H5927 all burnt-offerings^H5930 unto Jehovah,^H3068 on the sabbaths,^H7676 on the new moons,^H2320 and on the set feasts,^H4150 in number^H4557 according to the ordinance^H4941 concerning them, continually^H8548 before^H6440 Jehovah;^H3068

Sacrifices^H8002 of peace-offerings^H2077 are with me; This day^H3117 have I paid^H7999 my vows.^H5088

He that killeth^H7819 an ox^H7794 is as he that slayeth^H5221 a man;^H376 he that sacrificeth^H2076 a lamb,^H7716 as he that breaketh^H6202 a dog's^H3611 neck;^H6202 he that offereth^H5927 an oblation,^H4503 as he that offereth swine's^H2386 blood;^H1818 he that burneth^H2142 frankincense,^H3828 as he that blesseth^H1288 an idol.^H205 Yea, they have chosen^H977 their own ways,^H1870 and their soul^H5315 delighteth^H2654 in their abominations:^H8251

And he hath violently taken away^H2554 his tabernacle,^H7900 as if it were of a garden;^H1588 he hath destroyed^H7843 his place of assembly:^H4150 Jehovah^H3068 hath caused solemn assembly^H4150 and sabbath^H7676 to be forgotten^H7911 in Zion,^H6726 And hath despised^H5006 in the indignation^H2195 of his anger^H639 the king^H4428 and the priest.^H3548

Sanctify^H6942 a fast,^H6685 call^H7121 a solemn assembly,^H6116 gather^H622 the old men^H2205 [and] all the inhabitants^H3427 of the land^H776 unto the house^H1004 of Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 and cry^H2199 unto Jehovah.^H3068

Oh that there were one among you that would shut^H5462 the doors,^H1817 that ye might not kindle^H215 [fire on] mine altar^H4196 in vain! I have no^H2600 pleasure^H2656 in you, saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 neither will I accept^H7521 an offering^H4503 at your hand.^H3027

But^G235 woe^G3759 unto you^G5213 Pharisees!^G5330 for^G3754 ye tithe^G586 mint^G2238 and^G2532 rue^G4076 and^G2532 every^G3956 herb,^G3001 and^G2532 pass over^G3928 justice^G2920 and^G2532 the love^G26 of God:^G2316 but these^G5023 ought ye^G1163 to have done,^G4160 and^G2548 not^G3361 to leave^G863 the other^G2548 undone.^G863

And^G2532 grieve^G3076 not^G3361 the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 of God,^G1722 in whom^G3739 ye were sealed^G4972 unto^G1519 the day^G2250 of redemption.^G629
