Thou shalt not wrest^H5186 the justice^H4941 [due] to thy poor^H34 in his cause.^H7379

They slay^H2026 the widow^H490 and the sojourner,^H1616 And murder^H7523 the fatherless.^H3490

There is a generation^H1755 whose teeth^H8127 are [as] swords,^H2719 and their jaw teeth^H4973 [as] knives,^H3979 To devour^H398 the poor^H6041 from off the earth,^H776 and the needy^H34 from among men.^H120

Thy princes^H8269 are rebellious,^H5637 and companions^H2270 of thieves;^H1590 every one loveth^H157 bribes,^H7810 and followeth^H7291 after rewards:^H8021 they judge^H8199 not the fatherless,^H3490 neither doth the cause^H7379 of the widow^H490 come^H935 unto them.

For the vineyard^H3754 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 is the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 and the men^H376 of Judah^H3063 his pleasant^H8191 plant:^H5194 and he looked^H6960 for justice,^H4941 but, behold, oppression;^H4939 for righteousness,^H6666 but, behold, a cry.^H6818

that make a man^H120 an offender^H2398 in [his] cause,^H1697 and lay a snare^H6983 for him that reproveth^H3198 in the gate,^H8179 and turn aside^H5186 the just^H6662 with a thing of nought.^H8414

To turn aside^H5186 the right^H4941 of a man^H1397 before the face^H6440 of the Most High,^H5945

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Israel,^H3478 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because they have sold^H4376 the righteous^H6662 for silver,^H3701 and the needy^H34 for a pair of shoes—^H5275

Forasmuch^H3282 therefore as ye trample^H1318 upon the poor,^H1800 and take^H3947 exactions^H4864 from him of wheat:^H1250 ye have built^H1129 houses^H1004 of hewn stone,^H1496 but ye shall not dwell^H3427 in them; ye have planted^H5193 pleasant^H2531 vineyards,^H3754 but ye shall not drink^H8354 the wine^H3196 thereof.

And I said,^H559 Hear,^H8085 I pray you, ye heads^H7218 of Jacob,^H3290 and rulers^H7101 of the house^H1004 of Israel:^H3478 is it not for you to know^H3045 justice?^H4941

But woe^G3759 unto you,^G5213 scribes^G1122 and^G2532 Pharisees,^G5330 hypocrites!^G5273 because^G3754 ye shut^G2808 the kingdom^G932 of heaven^G3772 against^G1715 men:^G444 for^G1063 ye^G5210 enter not^G3756 in^G1525 yourselves, neither^G3756 suffer ye^G5210 them that are entering^G1525 in^G1525 to enter.
