But ships^H6716 [shall come] from the coast^H3027 of Kittim,^H3794 And they shall afflict^H6031 Asshur,^H804 and shall afflict^H6031 Eber;^H5677 And he also shall come^H5703 to destruction.^H8

From men^H4962 by thy hand,^H3027 O Jehovah,^H3068 From men^H4962 of the world,^H2465 whose portion^H2506 is in [this] life,^H2416 And whose belly^H990 thou fillest^H4390 with thy treasure:^H6840 They are satisfied^H7646 with children,^H1121 And leave^H3240 the rest^H3499 of their substance to their babes.^H5768

In that day^H3117 will the Lord^H136 shave^H1548 with a razor^H8593 that is hired^H7917 in the parts beyond^H5676 the River,^H5104 [even] with the king^H4428 of Assyria,^H804 the head^H7218 and the hair^H8181 of the feet;^H7272 and it shall also consume^H5595 the beard.^H2206

Shall the axe^H1631 boast^H6286 itself against him that heweth^H2672 therewith? shall the saw^H4883 magnify^H1431 itself against him that wieldeth^H5130 it? as if a rod^H7626 should wield^H5130 them that lift it up,^H7311 [or] as if a staff^H4294 should lift up^H7311 [him that is] not wood.^H6086

Jehovah^H3068 hath broken^H7665 the staff^H4294 of the wicked,^H7563 the sceptre^H7626 of the rulers;^H4910

then will I distress^H6693 Ariel,^H740 and there shall be mourning^H8386 and lamentation;^H592 and she shall be unto me as Ariel.^H740

And Jehovah^H3068 will cause his glorious^H1935 voice^H6963 to be heard,^H8085 and will show^H7200 the lighting down^H5183 of his arm,^H2220 with the indignation^H2197 of [his] anger,^H639 and the flame^H3851 of a devouring^H398 fire,^H784 with a blast,^H5311 and tempest,^H2230 and hailstones.^H68

Thou art my battle-axe^H4661 and weapons^H3627 of war:^H4421 and with thee will I break in pieces^H5310 the nations;^H1471 and with thee will I destroy^H7843 kingdoms;^H4467

And he will stretch out^H5186 his hand^H3027 against the north,^H6828 and destroy^H6 Assyria,^H804 and will make^H7760 Nineveh^H5210 a desolation,^H8077 and dry^H6723 like the wilderness.^H4057
