TSK · Isaiah 28:17

Behold, to-morrow^H4279 about this time^H6256 I will cause it to rain^H4305 a very^H3966 grievous^H3515 hail,^H1259 such as hath not been^H3644 in Egypt^H4714 since^H4480 the day it was founded^H3117 even until now.

And I will stretch^H5186 over Jerusalem^H3389 the line^H6957 of Samaria,^H8111 and the plummet^H4949 of the house^H1004 of Ahab;^H256 and I will wipe^H4229 Jerusalem^H3389 as a man wipeth^H4229 a dish,^H6747 wiping^H4229 it and turning^H2015 it upside down.^H6440

For judgment^H4941 shall return^H7725 unto righteousness;^H6664 And all the upright^H3477 in heart^H3820 shall follow^H310 it.

For though thy people,^H5971 Israel,^H3478 be as the sand^H2344 of the sea,^H3220 [only] a remnant^H7605 of them shall return:^H7725 a destruction^H3631 [is] determined,^H2782 overflowing^H7857 with righteousness.^H6666

Behold, the Lord^H136 hath a mighty^H2389 and strong one;^H533 as a tempest^H2230 of hail,^H1259 a destroying^H6986 storm,^H8178 as a tempest^H2230 of mighty^H3524 waters^H4325 overflowing,^H7857 will he cast down^H3240 to the earth^H776 with the hand.^H3027

and his breath^H7307 is as an overflowing^H7857 stream,^H5158 that reacheth even unto^H2673 the neck,^H6677 to sift^H5130 the nations^H1471 with the sieve^H5299 of destruction:^H7723 and a bridle^H7448 that causeth to err^H8582 [shall be] in the jaws^H3895 of the peoples.^H5971

And my people^H5971 shall abide^H3427 in a peaceable^H7965 habitation,^H5116 and in safe^H4009 dwellings,^H4908 and in quiet^H7600 resting-places.^H4496

therefore will I do^H6213 unto the house^H1004 which is called^H7121 by my name,^H8034 wherein ye trust,^H982 and unto the place^H4725 which I gave^H5414 to you and to your fathers,^H1 as I did^H6213 to Shiloh.^H7887

Behold, the tempest^H5591 of Jehovah,^H3068 [even his] wrath,^H2534 is gone forth,^H3318 yea, a whirling^H2342 tempest:^H5591 it shall burst^H2342 upon the head^H7218 of the wicked.^H7563

Because, even because they have seduced^H2937 my people,^H5971 saying,^H559 Peace;^H7965 and there is no peace;^H7965 and when one buildeth up^H1129 a wall,^H2434 behold,^H2009 they daub^H2902 it with untempered^H8602 [mortar]:

And with pestilence^H1698 and with blood^H1818 will I enter into judgment^H8199 with him; and I will rain^H4305 upon him, and upon his hordes,^H102 and upon the many^H7227 peoples^H5971 that are with him, an overflowing^H7857 shower,^H1653 and great hailstones,^H417 fire,^H784 and brimstone.^H1614

Thus he showed^H7200 me: and, behold, the Lord^H136 stood^H5324 beside a wall^H2346 made by a plumb-line,^H594 with a plumb-line^H594 in his hand.^H3027

And^G1161 we know^G1492 that^G3754 the judgment^G2917 of God^G2316 is^G2076 according to^G2596 truth^G225 against^G1909 them that practise^G4238 such things.^G5108

for^G1063 the Lord^G2962 will^G4160 execute^G4160 [his] word^G3056 upon^G1909 the earth,^G1093 finishing^G4931 it^G3056 and^G2532 cutting^G4932 it short.^G4932

And^G2532 the first^{G4413 G32} sounded,^G4537 and^G2532 there followed^G1096 hail^G5464 and^G2532 fire,^G4442 mingled^G3396 with blood,^G129 and^G2532 they were cast^G906 upon^G1519 the earth:^G1093 and^G2532 the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part^G5154 of the trees^G1186 was burnt up,^G2618 and^G2532 all^G3956 green^G5515 grass^G5528 was burnt up.^G2618

And^G2532 great^G3173 hail,^G5464 [every stone] about^G5613 the weight of a talent,^G5006 cometh down^G2597 out of^G1537 heaven^G3772 upon^G1909 men:^G444 and^G2532 men^G444 blasphemed^G987 God^G2316 because of^G1537 the plague^G4127 of the hail;^G5464 for^G3754 the plague^G4127 thereof^G846 is^G2076 exceeding^G4970 great.^G3173
