and upon every lofty^H1364 tower,^H4026 and upon every fortified^H1219 wall,^H2346

and it shall sweep^H2498 onward into Judah;^H3063 it shall overflow^H7857 and pass through;^H5674 it shall reach^H5060 even to the neck;^H6677 and the stretching out^H4298 of its wings^H3671 shall fill^H4393 the breadth^H7341 of thy land,^H776 O Immanuel.^H6005

The crown^H5850 of pride^H1348 of the drunkards^H7910 of Ephraim^H669 shall be trodden^H7429 under foot:^H7272

From thence also shalt thou go forth,^H3318 with thy hands^H3027 upon thy head:^H7218 for Jehovah^H3068 hath rejected^H3988 those in whom thou trustest,^H4009 and thou shalt not prosper^H6743 with them.

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 Behold, waters^H4325 rise up^H5927 out of the north,^H6828 and shall become an overflowing^H7857 stream,^H5158 and shall overflow^H7857 the land^H776 and all that is therein,^H4393 the city^H5892 and them that dwell^H3427 therein; and the men^H120 shall cry,^H2199 and all the inhabitants^H3427 of the land^H776 shall wail.^H3213

say^H559 unto them that daub^H2902 it with untempered^H8602 [mortar], that it shall fall:^H5307 there shall be an overflowing^H7857 shower;^H1653 and ye,^H859 O great hailstones,^H417 shall fall;^H5307 and a stormy^H5591 wind^H7307 shall rend^H1234 it.
