TSK · Isaiah 3:1

On the ninth^H8672 day of the [fourth] month^H2320 the famine^H7458 was sore^H2388 in the city,^H5892 so that there was no bread^H3899 for the people^H5971 of the land.^H776

Therefore saith^H5002 the Lord,^H113 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the Mighty One^H46 of Israel,^H3478 Ah,^H1945 I will ease^H5162 me of mine adversaries,^H6862 and avenge^H5358 me of mine enemies;^H341

Therefore my people^H5971 are gone into captivity^H1540 for lack of knowledge;^H1847 and their honorable^H3519 men^H4962 are famished,^H7458 and their multitude^H1995 are parched^H6704 with thirst.^H6772

Thus saith^H559 thy Lord^H113 Jehovah,^H3068 and thy God^H430 that pleadeth^H7378 the cause of his people,^H5971 Behold, I have taken out^H3947 of thy hand^H3027 the cup^H3563 of staggering,^H8653 even the bowl^H6907 of the cup^H3563 of my wrath;^H2534 thou shalt no more^H3254 drink it again:^H8354

My lord^H113 the king,^H4428 these men^H582 have done evil^H7489 in all that they have done^H6213 to Jeremiah^H3414 the prophet,^H5030 whom they have cast^H7993 into the dungeon;^H953 and he is like to die^H4191 in the place^H8478 where he is, because^H6440 of the famine;^H7458 for there is no more bread^H3899 in the city.^H5892

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 when a land^H776 sinneth^H2398 against me by committing^H4604 a trespass,^H4603 and I stretch out^H5186 my hand^H3027 upon it, and break^H7665 the staff^H4294 of the bread^H3899 thereof, and send^H7971 famine^H7458 upon it, and cut off^H3772 from it man^H120 and beast;^H929
