And the taskmasters^H5065 of the people^H5971 went out,^H3318 and their officers,^H7860 and they spake^H559 to the people,^H5971 saying,^H559 Thus saith^H559 Pharaoh,^H6547 I will not give^H5414 you straw.^H8401

But Jehovah^H3068 hath taken^H3947 you, and brought you forth^H3318 out of the iron^H1270 furnace,^H3564 out of Egypt,^H4714 to be unto him a people^H5971 of inheritance,^H5159 as at this day.^H3117

Only he shall not multiply^H7235 horses^H5483 to himself, nor cause the people^H5971 to return^H7725 to Egypt,^H4714 to the end that he may multiply^H7235 horses;^H5483 forasmuch as Jehovah^H3068 hath said^H559 unto you, Ye shall henceforth^H3254 return^H7725 no more that way.^H1870

And when the queen^H4436 of Sheba^H7614 heard^H8085 of the fame^H8088 of Solomon,^H8010 she came^H935 to prove^H5254 Solomon^H8010 with hard questions^H2420 at Jerusalem,^H3389 with a very^H3966 great^H3515 train,^H2428 and camels^H1581 that bare^H5375 spices,^H1314 and gold^H2091 in abundance,^H7230 and precious^H3368 stones:^H68 and when she was come^H935 to Solomon,^H8010 she communed^H1696 with him of all that was in her heart.^H3824

And Tilgath-pilneser^H8407 king^H4428 of Assyria^H804 came^H935 unto him, and distressed^H6696 him, but strengthened^H2388 him not.

and they shall look^H5027 unto the earth,^H776 and behold, distress^H6869 and darkness,^H2825 the gloom^H4588 of anguish;^H6695 and into thick darkness^H653 [they shall be] driven^H5080 away.

Therefore the abundance^H3502 they have gotten,^H6213 and that which they have laid up,^H6486 shall they carry away^H5375 over the brook^H5158 of the willows.^H6155

Bel^H1078 boweth down,^H3766 Nebo^H5015 stoopeth;^H7164 their idols^H6091 are upon the beasts,^H2416 and upon the cattle:^H929 the things that ye carried^H5385 about are made a load,^H6006 a burden^H4853 to the weary^H5889 [beast].

Neither said^H559 they, Where is Jehovah^H3068 that brought us up^H5927 out of the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 that led^H3212 us through the wilderness,^H4057 through a land^H776 of deserts^H6160 and of pits,^H7745 through a land^H776 of drought^H6723 and of the shadow of death,^H6757 through a land^H776 that none^H376 passed through,^H5674 and where no man^H376 dwelt?^H3427

For they are gone up^H5927 to Assyria,^H804 [like] a wild ass^H6501 alone^H909 by himself: Ephraim^H669 hath hired^H8566 lovers.^H158

Jehovah^H3068 hath also a controversy^H7379 with Judah,^H3063 and will punish^H6485 Jacob^H3290 according to his ways;^H1870 according to his doings^H4611 will he recompense^H7725 him.

The queen^G938 of the south^G3558 shall rise up^G1453 in^G1722 the judgment^G2920 with^G3326 this^G3778 generation,^G1074 and^G2532 shall condemn^G2632 it:^G846 for^G3754 she came^G2064 from^G1537 the ends of the earth^G1093 to hear^G191 the wisdom^G4678 of Solomon;^G4672 and^G2532 behold,^G2400 a greater^G4119 than Solomon^G4672 is here.^G5602
