For now I had put forth^H7971 my hand,^H3027 and smitten^H5221 thee and thy people^H5971 with pestilence,^H1698 and thou hadst been cut off^H3582 from the earth:^H776

Then said^H559 David^H1732 to the Philistine,^H6430 Thou comest^H935 to me with a sword,^H2719 and with a spear,^H2595 and with a javelin:^H3591 but I come^H935 to thee in the name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of the armies^H6635 of Israel,^H3478 whom thou hast defied.^H2778

And let these my words,^H1697 wherewith I have made supplication^H2603 before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 be nigh^H7138 unto Jehovah^H3068 our God^H430 day^H3119 and night,^H7138 that he maintain^H6213 the cause^H4941 of his servant,^H5650 and the cause^H4941 of his people^H5971 Israel,^H3478 as every^H1697 day^H3117 shall require;

And it came to pass at the time of the offering^H5927 of the evening oblation,^H4503 that Elijah^H452 the prophet^H5030 came near,^H5066 and said,^H559 O Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Abraham,^H85 of Isaac,^H3327 and of Israel,^H3478 let it be known^H3045 this day^H3117 that thou art God^H430 in Israel,^H3478 and that I am thy servant,^H5650 and that I have done^H6213 all these things at thy word.^H1697

Consume^H3615 them in wrath,^H2534 consume^H3615 them, so that they shall be no more: And let them know^H3045 that God^H430 ruleth^H4910 in Jacob,^H3290 Unto the ends^H657 of the earth.^{H776 H5542}

Let them be put to shame^H954 and dismayed^H926 for ever;^H5703 Yea, let them be confounded^H2659 and perish;^H6

I am Jehovah,^H3068 and there is none else; besides^H2108 me there is no God.^H430 I will gird^H247 thee, though thou hast not known^H3045 me;

And I will set^H5414 my glory^H3519 among the nations;^H1471 and all the nations^H1471 shall see^H7200 my judgment^H4941 that I have executed,^H6213 and my hand^H3027 that I have laid^H7760 upon them.
