The stouthearted^H47 are made a spoil,^H7997 They have slept^H5123 their sleep;^H8142 And none of the men^H582 of might^H2428 have found^H4672 their hands.^H3027

Salvation^H3444 is far^H7350 from the wicked;^H7563 For they seek^H1875 not thy statutes.^H2706

Doth not wisdom^H2451 cry,^H7121 And understanding^H8394 put forth^H5414 her voice?^H6963

Wherefore hear^H8085 the word^H1697 of Jehovah,^H3068 ye^H582 scoffers,^H3944 that rule^H4910 this people^H582 that is in Jerusalem:^H3389

Assemble^H6908 yourselves and come;^H935 draw near^H5066 together,^H3162 ye that are escaped^H6412 of the nations:^H1471 they have no knowledge^H3045 that carry^H5375 the wood^H6086 of their graven image,^H6459 and pray^H6419 unto a god^H410 that cannot save.^H3467

Hear^H8085 ye this, O house^H1004 of Jacob,^H3290 who are called^H7121 by the name^H8034 of Israel,^H3478 and are come forth^H3318 out of the waters^H4325 of Judah;^H3063 who swear^H7650 by the name^H8034 of Jehovah,^H3068 and make mention^H2142 of the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 but not in truth,^H571 nor in righteousness^H6666

Yea, truth^H571 is lacking;^H5737 and he that departeth^H5493 from evil^H7451 maketh himself a prey.^H7997 And Jehovah^H3068 saw^H7200 it, and it displeased^H3415 him that there was no justice.^H4941

Ye who turn^H2015 justice^H4941 to wormwood,^H3939 and cast down^H3240 righteousness^H6666 to the earth,^H776

But they refused^H3985 to hearken,^H7181 and pulled away^H5414 the shoulder,^H3802 and stopped^H3513 their ears,^H241 that they might not hear.^H8085

Ye^G5210 stiffnecked^G4644 and^G2532 uncircumcised^G564 in heart^G2588 and^G2532 ears,^G3775 ye do^G496 always^G104 resist^G496 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit:^G4151 as^G5613 your^G5216 fathers^G3962 did, so^G2532 do ye.^G5210

Wherefore^G1352 [he] saith,^G3004 Awake, thou^G1453 that^G3588 sleepest,^G2518 and^G2532 arise^G450 from^G1537 the dead,^G3498 and^G2532 Christ^G5547 shall shine^G2017 upon^G2017 thee.^G4671
