And the five^H2568 men^H582 that went^H1980 to spy out^H7270 the land^H776 went up,^H5927 and came in^H935 thither, and took^H3947 the graven image,^H6459 and the ephod,^H646 and the teraphim,^H8655 and the molten image:^H4541 and the priest^H3548 stood^H5324 by the entrance^H6607 of the gate^H8179 with the six^H8337 hundred^H3967 men^H376 girt^H2296 with weapons^H3627 of war.^H4421

And they left^H5800 their images^H6091 there; and David^H1732 and his men^H582 took them away.^H5375

Have the gods^H430 of the nations^H1471 delivered^H5337 them, which my fathers^H1 have destroyed,^H7843 Gozan,^H1470 and Haran,^H2771 and Rezeph,^H7530 and the children^H1121 of Eden^H5729 that were in Telassar?^H8515

And the residue^H7611 thereof he maketh^H6213 a god,^H410 even his graven image;^H6459 he falleth down^H5456 unto it and worshippeth,^H7812 and prayeth^H6419 unto it, and saith,^H559 Deliver^H5337 me; for thou art my god.^H410

The inhabitants^H7934 of Samaria^H8111 shall be in terror^H1481 for the calves^H5697 of Beth-aven;^H1007 for the people^H5971 thereof shall mourn^H56 over it, and the priests^H3649 thereof that rejoiced^H1523 over it, for the glory^H3519 thereof, because it is departed^H1540 from it.
