(for they are thy people,^H5971 and thine inheritance,^H5159 which thou broughtest forth^H3318 out of Egypt,^H4714 from the midst^H8432 of the furnace^H3564 of iron);^H1270

Surely^H3426 there is a mine^H4161 for silver,^H3701 And a place^H4725 for gold^H2091 which they refine.^H2212

The refining pot^H4715 is for silver,^H3701 and the furnace^H3564 for gold;^H2091 But Jehovah^H3068 trieth^H974 the hearts.^H3826

Therefore thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 Behold, I will melt^H6884 them, and try^H974 them; for how [else] should I do,^H6213 because^H6440 of the daughter^H1323 of my people?^H5971

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 the house^H1004 of Israel^H3478 is become dross^H5509 unto me: all of them are brass^H5178 and tin^H913 and iron^H1270 and lead,^H5777 in the midst^H8432 of the furnace;^H3564 they are the dross^H5509 of silver.^H3701

And I will bring^H935 the third part^H7992 into the fire,^H784 and will refine^H6884 them as silver^H3701 is refined,^H6884 and will try^H974 them as gold^H2091 is tried.^H974 They shall call^H7121 on my name,^H8034 and I will hear^H6030 them: I will say,^H559 It is my people;^H5971 and they shall say,^H559 Jehovah^H3068 is my God.^H430

For^G1063 they^G3811 indeed^G3303 for^G4314 a few^G3641 days^G2250 chastened^G3811 [us] as seemed^G2596 good^G1380 to them;^G846 but^G1161 he^G3588 for^G1909 [our] profit,^G4851 that^G1519 [we] may be partakers^G3335 of^G41 his^G846 holiness.^G41
