See^H7200 now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god^H430 with me: I kill,^H4191 and I make alive;^H2421 I wound,^H4272 and I heal;^H7495 And there is none that can deliver^H5337 out of my hand.^H3027

Now therefore, [my] sons,^H1121 hearken^H8085 unto me; For blessed^H835 are they that keep^H8104 my ways.^H1870

Who hath wrought^H6466 and done^H6213 it, calling^H7121 the generations^H1755 from the beginning?^H7218 I, Jehovah,^H3068 the first,^H7223 and with the last,^H314 I am he.

Yet now hear,^H8085 O Jacob^H3290 my servant,^H5650 and Israel,^H3478 who I have chosen:^H977

Hearken^H8085 unto me, O house^H1004 of Jacob,^H3290 and all the remnant^H7611 of the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 that have been borne^H6006 [by me] from their birth,^H990 that have been carried^H5375 from the womb;^H7356

Hearken^H8085 to me, ye that follow after^H7291 righteousness,^H6664 ye that seek^H1245 Jehovah:^H3068 look^H5027 unto the rock^H6697 whence ye were hewn,^H2672 and to the hole^H4718 of the pit^H953 whence ye were digged.^H5365

Hearken^H8085 unto me, ye that know^H3045 righteousness,^H6664 the people^H5971 in whose heart^H3820 is my law;^H8451 fear^H3372 ye not the reproach^H2781 of men,^H582 neither be ye dismayed^H2865 at their revilings.^H1421

So^G3779 the last^G2078 shall be^G2071 first,^G4413 and^G2532 the first^G4413 last.^G2078

And^G1161 we know^G1492 that^G3754 to them that love^G25 God^G2316 all things^G3956 work together^G4903 for^G1519 good,^G18 [even] to them that are^G5607 called^G2822 according to^G2596 [his] purpose.^G4286

But^G1161 ye^G5210 are an elect^G1588 race,^G1085 a royal^G934 priesthood,^G2406 a holy^G40 nation,^G1484 a ^G1519 people^G2992 for [God's] own possession,^G4047 that^G3704 ye may show forth^G1804 the excellencies^G703 of him who called^G2564 you^G5209 out of^G1537 darkness^G4655 into^G1519 his^G846 marvellous^G2298 light:^G5457

saying,^G3004 What^G3739 thou seest,^G991 write^G1125 in^G1473 a book^G975 and^G2532 send^G3992 [it] to the seven^G2033 churches:^G1577 unto^G1519 Ephesus,^G2181 and^G2532 unto^G1519 Smyrna,^G4667 and^G2532 unto^G1519 Pergamum,^G4010 and^G2532 unto^G1519 Thyatira,^G2363 and^G2532 unto^G1519 Sardis,^G4554 and^G2532 unto^G1519 Philadelphia,^G5359 and^G2532 unto^G1519 Laodicea.^G2993

And^G2532 to the angel^G32 of the church^G1577 in Smyrna^G4668 write:^G1125 These things^G3592 saith^G3004 the first^G4413 and^G2532 the last,^G2078 who^G3739 was^G1096 dead,^G3498 and^G2532 lived^G2198 [again]:

I^G1473 am^G1510 the Alpha^G1 and^G2532 the Omega,^G5598 the first^G4413 and^G2532 the last,^G2078 the beginning^G746 and^G2532 the end.^G5056
