TSK · Isaiah 48:9

For the Canaanites^H3669 and all the inhabitants^H3427 of the land^H776 will hear^H8085 of it, and will compass us round,^H5437 and cut off^H3772 our name^H8034 from the earth:^H776 and what wilt thou do^H6213 for thy great^H1419 name?^H8034

Yet many^H7227 years^H8141 didst thou bear with them, and testifiedst^H5749 against them by thy Spirit^H7307 through^H3027 thy prophets:^H5030 yet would they not give^H5414 ear:^H238 therefore gavest^H5414 thou them into the hand^H3027 of the peoples^H5971 of the lands.^H776

But he, being merciful,^H7349 forgave^H3722 [their] iniquity,^H5771 and destroyed^H7843 [them] not: Yea, many a time^H7235 turned^H7725 he his anger^H639 away,^H7725 And did not stir up^H5782 all his wrath.^H2534

Jehovah^H3068 is merciful^H7349 and gracious,^H2587 Slow^H750 to anger,^H639 and abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness.^H2617

Quicken^H2421 me, O Jehovah,^H3068 for thy name's^H8034 sake: In thy righteousness^H6666 bring^H3318 my soul^H5315 out of trouble.^H6869

And therefore will Jehovah^H3068 wait,^H2442 that he may be gracious^H2603 unto you; and therefore will he be exalted,^H7311 that he may have mercy^H7355 upon you: for Jehovah^H3068 is a God^H430 of justice;^H4941 blessed^H835 are all they that wait^H2442 for him.

I, even I, am he that blotteth out^H4229 thy transgressions^H6588 for mine own sake; and I will not remember^H2142 thy sins.^H2403

Though our iniquities^H5771 testify^H6030 against us, work^H6213 thou for thy name's^H8034 sake, O Jehovah;^H3068 for our backslidings^H4878 are many;^H7231 we have sinned^H2398 against thee.

But I wrought^H6213 for my name's^H8034 sake, that it should not be profaned^H2490 in the sight^H5869 of the nations,^H1471 in whose sight^H5869 I brought them out.^H3318

And ye shall know^H3045 that I am Jehovah,^H3068 when I have dealt^H6213 with you for my name's^H8034 sake, not according to your evil^H7451 ways,^H1870 nor according to your corrupt^H7843 doings,^H5949 O ye house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

Now therefore, O our God,^H430 hearken^H8085 unto the prayer^H8605 of thy servant,^H5650 and to his supplications,^H8469 and cause thy face^H6440 to shine^H215 upon thy sanctuary^H4720 that is desolate,^H8076 for the Lord's^H136 sake.
