TSK · Isaiah 8:7

And I,^H589 behold,^H2009 I^H589 do bring^H935 the flood^H3999 of waters^H4325 upon the earth,^H776 to destroy^H7843 all flesh,^H1320 wherein is the breath^H7307 of life,^H2416 from under^H8478 heaven;^H8064 everything^H3605 that is in the earth^H776 shall die.^H1478

Against him came up^H5927 Shalmaneser^H8022 king^H4428 of Assyria;^H804 and Hoshea^H1954 became his servant,^H5650 and brought^H7725 him tribute.^H4503

and the rest^H7606 of the nations^H524 whom^H1768 the great^H7229 and noble^H3358 Osnappar^H620 brought over,^H1541 and set^H3488 in the city^H7149 of Samaria,^H8115 and in the rest^H7606 [of the country] beyond^H5675 the River,^H5103 and so forth.^H3706

He shall have dominion^H7287 also from sea^H3220 to sea,^H3220 And from the River^H5104 unto the ends^H657 of the earth.^H776

Jehovah^H3068 will bring^H935 upon thee, and upon thy people,^H5971 and upon thy father's^H1 house,^H1004 days^H3117 that have not come,^H935 from the day^H3117 that Ephraim^H669 departed^H5493 from [Judah—]^H3063 [even] the king^H4428 of Assyria.^H804

For he saith,^H559 Are not my princes^H8269 all^H3162 of them kings?^H4428

Because ye have said,^H559 We have made^H3772 a covenant^H1285 with death,^H4194 and with Sheol^H7585 are we^H6213 at agreement;^H2374 when the overflowing^H7857 scourge^H7752 shall pass through,^H5674 it shall not come^H935 unto us; for we have made^H7760 lies^H3577 our refuge,^H4268 and under falsehood^H8267 have we hid^H5641 ourselves:

So shall they fear^H3372 the name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 from the west,^H4628 and his glory^H3519 from the rising^H4217 of the sun;^H8121 for he^H6862 will come^H935 as a rushing stream,^H5104 which the breath^H7307 of Jehovah^H3068 driveth.^H5127

The sea^H3220 is come up^H5927 upon Babylon;^H894 she is covered^H3680 with the multitude^H1995 of the waves^H1530 thereof.

And after^H310 the threescore^H8346 and two^H8147 weeks^H7620 shall the anointed^H4899 one be cut off,^H3772 and shall have nothing: and the people^H5971 of the prince^H5057 that shall come^H935 shall destroy^H7843 the city^H5892 and the sanctuary;^H6944 and the end^H7093 thereof shall be with a flood,^H7858 and even unto the end^H7093 shall be war;^H4421 desolations^H8074 are determined.^H2782

And the overwhelming^H7858 forces^H2220 shall be overwhelmed^H7857 from before^H6440 him, and shall be broken;^H7665 yea, also the prince^H5057 of the covenant.^H1285

For the Lord,^H136 Jehovah^H3069 of hosts,^H6635 [is] he that toucheth^H5060 the land^H776 and it melteth,^H4127 and all that dwell^H3427 therein shall mourn;^H56 and it shall rise up^H5927 wholly like the River,^H2975 and shall sink^H8257 again, like the River^H2975 of Egypt;^H4714

And this [man] shall be [our] peace.^H7965 When the Assyrian^H804 shall come^H935 into our land,^H776 and when he shall tread^H1869 in our palaces,^H759 then shall we raise^H6965 against him seven^H7651 shepherds,^H7462 and eight^H8083 principal^H5257 men.^H120

he is^G2076 like^G3664 a man^G444 building^G3739 a^G3618 house,^G3614 who^G2532 digged^G4626 and went deep,^G900 and^G2532 laid^G5087 a foundation^G2310 upon^G1909 the rock:^G4073 and^G1161 when a flood^G4132 arose,^G1096 the stream^G4215 brake^G4366 against that^G1565 house,^G3614 and^G2532 could^G2480 not^G3756 shake^G4531 it:^G846 because^G1063 it had been^G2311 well^G1909 builded.^G4073

And^G2532 he saith^G3004 unto me,^G3427 The waters^G5204 which^G3739 thou sawest,^G1492 where^G3757 the harlot^G4204 sitteth,^G2521 are^G1526 peoples,^G2992 and^G2532 multitudes,^G3793 and^G2532 nations,^G1484 and^G2532 tongues.^G1100
