Make^H6213 thee two^H8147 trumpets^H2689 of silver;^H3701 of beaten work^H4749 shalt thou make^H6213 them: and thou shalt use^H1961 them for the calling^H4744 of the congregation,^H5712 and for the journeying^H4550 of the camps.^H4264

And when ye blow^H8628 an alarm,^H8643 the camps^H4264 that lie^H2583 on the east side^H6924 shall take their journey.^H5265

And when I heard^H8085 this thing,^H1697 I tore^H7167 my garment^H899 and my robe,^H4598 and plucked off^H4803 the hair^H8181 of my head^H7218 and of my beard,^H2206 and sat down^H3427 confounded.^H8074

My flesh^H1320 trembleth^H5568 for fear^H6343 of thee; And I am afraid^H3372 of thy judgments.^H4941

Wail^H3213 ye; for the day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 is at hand;^H7138 as destruction^H7701 from the Almighty^H7706 shall it come.^H935

For all these things hath my hand^H3027 made,^H6213 and [so] all these things came to be, saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 but to this man will I look,^H5027 even to him that is poor^H6041 and of a contrite^H5223 spirit,^H7307 and that trembleth^H2730 at my word.^H1697

Declare^H5046 ye in Judah,^H3063 and publish^H8085 in Jerusalem;^H3389 and say,^H559 Blow^H8628 ye the trumpet^H7782 in the land:^H776 cry^H7121 aloud^H4390 and say,^H559 Assemble^H622 yourselves, and let us go^H935 into the fortified^H4013 cities.^H5892

neither shall men break^H6536 [bread] for them in mourning,^H60 to comfort^H5162 them for the dead;^H4191 neither shall men give them the cup^H3563 of consolation^H8575 to drink^H8248 for their father^H1 or for their mother.^H517

Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 An evil,^H7451 an only^H259 evil;^H7451 behold, it cometh.^H935

The time^H6256 is come,^H935 the day^H3117 draweth near:^H5060 let not the buyer^H7069 rejoice,^H8055 nor the seller^H4376 mourn;^H56 for wrath^H2740 is upon all the multitude^H1995 thereof.

Cry^H2199 and wail,^H3213 son^H1121 of man;^H120 for it is upon my people,^H5971 it is upon all the princes^H5387 of Israel:^H3478 they are delivered^H4048 over to^H413 the sword^H2719 with my people;^H5971 smite^H5606 therefore upon thy thigh.^H3409

But if the watchman^H6822 see^H7200 the sword^H2719 come,^H935 and blow^H8628 not the trumpet,^H7782 and the people^H5971 be not warned,^H2094 and the sword^H2719 come,^H935 and take^H3947 any person^H5315 from among them; he is taken away^H3947 in his iniquity,^H5771 but his blood^H1818 will I require^H1875 at the watchman's^H6822 hand.^H3027

O Lord,^H136 according to all thy righteousness,^H6666 let thine anger^H639 and thy wrath,^H2534 I pray thee, be turned away^H7725 from thy city^H5892 Jerusalem,^H3389 thy holy^H6944 mountain;^H2022 because for our sins,^H2399 and for the iniquities^H5771 of our fathers,^H1 Jerusalem^H3389 and thy people^H5971 are become a reproach^H2781 to all that are round about^H5439 us.

Blow^H8628 ye the cornet^H7782 in Gibeah,^H1390 and the trumpet^H2689 in Ramah:^H7414 sound an alarm^H7321 at Beth-aven;^H1007 behind^H310 thee, O Benjamin.^H1144

Alas^H162 for the day!^H3117 for the day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 is at hand,^H7138 and as destruction^H7701 from the Almighty^H7706 shall it come.^H935

So shall ye know^H3045 that I am Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 dwelling^H7931 in Zion^H6726 my holy^H6944 mountain:^H2022 then shall Jerusalem^H3389 be holy,^H6944 and there shall no strangers^H2114 pass through^H5674 her any more.

And he said,^H559 Amos,^H5986 what seest^H7200 thou? And I said,^H559 A basket^H3619 of summer fruit.^H7019 Then said^H559 Jehovah^H3068 unto me, The end^H7093 is come^H935 upon my people^H5971 Israel;^H3478 I will not again^H3254 pass^H5674 by them any more.

Hold thy peace^H2013 at the presence^H6440 of the Lord^H136 Jehovah;^H3068 for the day^H3117 of Jehovah^H3068 is at hand:^H7138 for Jehovah^H3068 hath prepared^H3559 a sacrifice,^H2077 he hath consecrated^H6942 his guests.^H7121

a day^H3117 of the trumpet^H7782 and alarm,^H8643 against the fortified^H1219 cities,^H5892 and against the high^H1364 battlements.^H6438

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 I am returned^H7725 unto Zion,^H6726 and will dwell^H7931 in the midst^H8432 of Jerusalem:^H3389 and Jerusalem^H3389 shall be called^H7121 The city^H5892 of truth;^H571 and the mountain^H2022 of Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 The holy^H6944 mountain.^H2022

So^G5620 then, my^G3450 beloved,^G27 even as^G2531 ye have^G5219 always^G3842 obeyed,^G5219 not^G3361 as^G5613 in^G1722 my^G3450 presence^G3952 only,^G3440 but^G235 now^G3568 much^G4183 more^G3123 in^G1722 my^G3450 absence,^G666 work out^G2716 your own^G1438 salvation^G4991 with^G3326 fear^G5401 and^G2532 trembling;^G5156

Be^G3114 ye^G5210 also^G2532 patient;^G3114 establish^G4741 your^G5216 hearts:^G2588 for^G3754 the coming^G3952 of the Lord^G2962 is at hand.^G1448
