He that separateth^H6504 himself seeketh^H1245 [his own] desire,^H8378 And rageth^H1566 against all sound wisdom.^H8454

For every one^H376 of the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 or of the strangers^H1616 that sojourn^H1481 in Israel,^H3478 that separateth^H5144 himself from me,^H310 and taketh^H5927 his idols^H1544 into his heart,^H3820 and putteth^H7760 the stumblingblock^H4383 of his iniquity^H5771 before^H5227 his face,^H6440 and cometh^H935 to the prophet^H5030 to inquire^H1875 for himself of me; I Jehovah^H3068 will answer^H6030 him by myself:

I found^H4672 Israel^H3478 like grapes^H6025 in the wilderness;^H4057 I saw^H7200 your fathers^H1 as the first-ripe^H1063 in the fig-tree^H8384 at its first season:^H7225 but they came^H935 to Baal-peor,^H1187 and consecrated^H5144 themselves unto the shameful^H1322 thing, and became abominable^H8251 like that which they loved.^H157

But^G1161 ye^G5210 are^G2075 not^G3756 in^G1722 the flesh^G4561 but^G235 in^G1722 the Spirit,^G4151 if so be that^G1512 the Spirit^G4151 of God^G2316 dwelleth^G3611 in^G1722 you.^G5213 But^G1161 if^G1487 any man^G5100 hath^G2192 not^G3756 the Spirit^G4151 of Christ,^G5547 he^G3778 is^G2076 none^G3756 of his.^G846

Or^G2228 know ye^G1492 not^G3756 that^G3754 your^G5216 body^G4983 is^G2076 a temple^G3485 of the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 which is in^G1722 you,^G5213 which^G3739 ye have^G2192 from^G575 God?^G2316 and^G2532 ye are^G2075 not^G3756 your own;^G1438

This^G3778 wisdom^G4678 is^G2076 not^G3756 [a wisdom] that cometh down^G2718 from above,^G509 but^G235 is earthly,^G1919 sensual,^G5591 devilish.^G1141
