But when the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 cried^H2199 unto Jehovah,^H3068 Jehovah^H3068 raised them up^H6965 a saviour,^H3467 Ehud^H164 the son^H1121 of Gera,^H1617 the Benjamite,^H1145 a man^H376 left-handed.^H334 And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 sent^H7971 tribute^H4503 by him^H3027 unto Eglon^H5700 the king^H4428 of Moab.^H4124

And she lived^H3427 under the palm-tree^H8560 of Deborah^H1683 between Ramah^H7414 and Beth-el^H1008 in the hill-country^H2022 of Ephraim:^H669 and the sons^H1121 of Israel^H3478 came up^H5927 to her for judgment.^H4941

And after^H310 Abimelech^H40 there arose^H6965 to save^H3467 Israel^H3478 Tola^H8439 the son^H1121 of Puah,^H6312 the son^H1121 of Dodo,^H1734 a man^H376 of Issachar;^H3485 and he dwelt^H3427 in Shamir^H8069 in the hill-country^H2022 of Ephraim.^H669

And it came to pass in the days^H3117 when the judges^H8199 judged,^H8199 that there was a famine^H7458 in the land.^H776 And a certain man^H376 of Beth-lehem-judah^H1035 went^H3212 to sojourn^H1481 in the country^H7704 of Moab,^H4124 he, and his wife,^H802 and his two^H8147 sons.^H1121

And he did^H6213 valiantly,^H2428 and smote^H5221 the Amalekites,^H6002 and delivered^H5337 Israel^H3478 out of the hands^H3027 of them that despoiled^H8154 them.

Therefore thou deliveredst^H5414 them into the hand^H3027 of their adversaries,^H6862 who distressed^H6887 them: and in the time^H6256 of their trouble,^H6869 when they cried^H6817 unto thee, thou heardest^H8085 from heaven;^H8064 and according to thy manifold^H7227 mercies^H7356 thou gavest^H5414 them saviours^H3467 who saved^H3467 them out of the hand^H3027 of their adversaries.^H6862

and^G2532 after^G3326 these things^G5023 he gave^G1325 [them] judges^G2923 until^G2193 Samuel^G4545 the prophet.^G4396
