And they gathered together^H6908 to Mizpah,^H4709 and drew^H7579 water,^H4325 and poured it out^H8210 before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 and fasted^H6684 on that day,^H3117 and said^H559 there, We have sinned^H2398 against Jehovah.^H3068 And Samuel^H8050 judged^H8199 the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 in Mizpah.^H4708

Thou hast abhorred^H5010 the covenant^H1285 of thy servant:^H5650 Thou hast profaned^H2490 his crown^H5145 [by casting it] to the ground.^H776

For Jerusalem^H3389 is ruined,^H3782 and Judah^H3063 is fallen;^H5307 because their tongue^H3956 and their doings^H4611 are against Jehovah,^H3068 to provoke^H4784 the eyes^H5869 of his glory.^H3519

Hast thou not procured^H6213 this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken^H5800 Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 when^H6256 he led^H3212 thee by the way?^H1870

Thy way^H1870 and thy doings^H4611 have procured^H6213 these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness;^H7451 for it is bitter,^H4751 for it reacheth^H5060 unto thy heart.^H3820

and they came in,^H935 and possessed^H3423 it, but they obeyed^H8085 not thy voice,^H6963 neither walked^H1980 in thy law;^H8451 they have done^H6213 nothing of all that thou commandedst^H6680 them to do:^H6213 therefore thou hast caused all this evil^H7451 to come^H7122 upon them.

Jerusalem^H3389 hath grievously^H2399 sinned;^H2398 therefore she is become^H5206 as an unclean thing; All that honored^H3513 her despise^H2107 her, because they have seen^H7200 her nakedness:^H6172 Yea, she sigheth,^H584 and turneth^H7725 backward.^H268

Behold,^H7200 O Jehovah;^H3068 for I am in distress;^H6887 my heart^H4578 is troubled;^H2560 My heart^H3820 is turned^H2015 within^H7130 me; for I have grievously^H4784 rebelled:^H4784 Abroad^H2351 the sword^H2719 bereaveth,^H7921 at home^H1004 there is as death.^H4194

[ It is] because of the sins^H2403 of her prophets,^H5030 [and] the iniquities^H5771 of her priests,^H3548 That have shed^H8210 the blood^H1818 of the just^H6662 in the midst^H7130 of her.

thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Remove^H5493 the mitre,^H4701 and take off^H7311 the crown;^H5850 this [shall be] no more the same;^H2063 exalt^H1361 that which is low,^H8217 and abase^H8213 that which is high.^H1364

Therefore I also have smitten^H2470 thee with a grievous wound;^H5221 I have made thee desolate^H8074 because of thy sins.^H2403

Fear^G5399 not^G3367 the things which^G3739 thou art about^G3195 to suffer:^G3958 behold,^G2400 the devil^G1228 is about^G3195 to cast^G906 some of^G1537 you^G5216 into^G1519 prison,^G5438 that^G2443 ye may be tried;^G3985 and^G2532 ye shall have^G2192 tribulation^G2347 ten^G1176 days.^G2250 Be thou^G1096 faithful^G4103 unto^G891 death,^G2288 and^G2532 I will give^G1325 thee^G4671 the crown^G4735 of life.^G2222
