Defile^H2930 not ye yourselves in any of these things:^H428 for in all these the nations^H1471 are defiled^H2930 which I cast out^H7971 from before^H6440 you;

Ye shall not do so^H6213 unto Jehovah^H3068 your God.^H430

and ye have seen^H7200 their abominations,^H8251 and their idols,^H1544 wood^H6086 and stone,^H68 silver^H3701 and gold,^H2091 which were among them);

thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Learn^H3925 not the way^H1870 of the nations,^H1471 and be not dismayed^H2865 at the signs^H226 of heaven;^H8064 for the nations^H1471 are dismayed^H2865 at them.^H1992

Neither hath she left^H5800 her whoredoms^H8457 since [the days of] Egypt;^H4714 for in her youth^H5271 they lay^H7901 with her, and they handled^H6213 the bosom^H1717 of her virginity;^H1331 and they poured^H8210 out their whoredom^H8457 upon her.
