And I will come down^H3381 and talk^H1696 with thee there: and I will take^H680 of the Spirit^H7307 which is upon thee, and will put^H7760 it upon them; and they shall bear^H5375 the burden^H4853 of the people^H5971 with thee, that thou bear^H5375 it not thyself alone.

Then said^H559 Elijah^H452 unto the people,^H5971 I, even I only, am left^H3498 a prophet^H5030 of Jehovah;^H3068 but Baal's^H1168 prophets^H5030 are four^H702 hundred^H3967 and fifty^H2572 men.^H376

The Lord^H136 giveth^H5414 the word:^H562 The women that publish^H1319 the tidings are a great^H7227 host.^H6635

and I will give^H5414 you shepherds^H7462 according to my heart,^H3820 who shall feed^H7462 you with knowledge^H1844 and understanding.^H7919

whose possessors^H7069 slay^H2026 them, and hold themselves not guilty;^H816 and they that sell^H4376 them say,^H559 Blessed^H1288 be Jehovah,^H3068 for I am rich;^H6238 and their own shepherds^H7462 pity^H2550 them not.

But^G1161 when he saw^G1492 the multitudes,^G3793 he was moved with compassion^G4697 for^G4012 them,^G846 because^G3754 they^G2258 were^G2258 distressed^G1590 and^G2532 scattered, as^G5616 sheep^G4263 not^G3361 having^G2192 a shepherd.^G4166

[ It is] as^G5613 [when] a man,^G444 sojourning^G590 in another country, having left^G863 his^G846 house,^G3614 and^G2532 given^G1325 authority^G1849 to his^G846 servants,^G1401 to^G2532 each one^G1538 his^G846 work,^{G2041 G2532} commanded^G1781 also the porter^G2377 to^G2443 watch.^G1127

Take heed^{G4337 G3767} unto yourselves,^G1438 and^G2532 to all^G3956 the flock,^G4168 in^G1722 which^G3739 the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 hath made^G5087 you^G5209 bishops,^G1985 to feed^G4165 the church^G1577 of the Lord^G2316 which^G3739 he purchased^G4046 with^G1223 his own^G2398 blood.^G129

And^G1161 I^G1473 said,^G2036 Who^G5101 art thou,^G1488 Lord?^G2962 And^G1161 the Lord said,^G2036 I^G1473 am^G1510 Jesus^G2424 whom^G3739 thou^G4771 persecutest.^G1377

And^G1161 working together^G4903 [with him] we entreat^G3870 also^G2532 that ye^G5209 receive^G1209 not^G3361 the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 in^G1519 vain^G2756

For^G1063 they all^G3956 seek^G2212 their own,^G1438 not^G3756 the things of^G3588 Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547

because^G3754 for^G1223 the work^G2041 of Christ^G5547 he came nigh^G1448 unto^G3360 death,^G2288 hazarding^G3851 his life^G2443 to supply^G378 that which was lacking^G5303 in your^G5216 service^G3009 toward^G4314 me.^G3165

Be diligent^G3191 in these things;^G5023 give thyself wholly^G2468 to^G1722 them;^G5125 that^G2443 thy^G4675 progress^G4297 may^G5600 be manifest^G5318 unto^G1722 all.^G3956
