And^G2532 if^G1437 ye salute^G782 your^G5216 brethren^G80 only,^G3440 what^G5101 do^G4160 ye more^G4053 [than others?] do^G4160 not^G3780 even^G2532 the Gentiles^G5057 the same?^G3779

saying,^G3004 What^G5101 think^G1380 ye^G5213 of^G4012 the Christ?^G5547 whose^G5101 son^G5207 is he?^G2076 They say^G3004 unto him,^G846 [The son] of David.^G1138

And^G2532 he^G846 asked^G3004 them,^G846 But^G1161 who^G5101 say^G3004 ye^G5210 that I^G3165 am?^{G1511 G1161} Peter^G4074 answereth^G611 and^G1161 saith^G3004 unto him,^G846 Thou^G4771 art^G1488 the Christ.^G5547

If^G1487 thou^G4771 art^G1488 the Christ,^G5547 tell^G2036 us.^G2254 But^G1161 he said^G2036 unto them,^G846 If I^G1437 tell^G2036 you,^G5213 ye will^G4100 not^{G3361 G3756} believe:^G4100

and^G5037 they said^G3004 to the woman,^G3754 Now^G3765 we believe,^G4100 not^G3765 because^G1223 of^G2981 thy^G4674 speaking:^G2981 for^G1063 we have heard^G191 for^G1063 ourselves,^G846 and^G2532 know^G1492 that^G3754 this^G3778 is^G2076 indeed^G230 the Saviour^G4990 of the world.^G2889

Others^G243 said,^G3004 This^G3778 is^G2076 the Christ.^G5547 But^G1161 some^G243 said,^G3004 What,^G1063 doth^G3361 the Christ^G5547 come^G2064 out of^G1537 Galilee?^G1056

but^G1161 these^G5023 are written,^G1125 that^G2443 ye may believe^G4100 that^G3754 Jesus^G2424 is^G2076 the Christ,^G5547 the Son^G5207 of God;^G2316 and^G2532 that^G2443 believing^G4100 ye may have^G2192 life^G2222 in^G1722 his^G846 name.^G3686

But^G1161 Saul^G4569 increased^G1743 the more^G3123 in strength,^G1743 and^G2532 confounded^G4797 the Jews^G2453 that^G3588 dwelt^G2730 at^G1722 Damascus,^G1154 proving^G4822 that^G3754 this^G3778 is^G2076 the^G3588 Christ.^G5547

Whosoever^G3956 believeth^G4100 that^G3754 Jesus^G2424 is^G2076 the Christ^G5547 is^G2076 begotten^G1080 of^G1537 God:^G2316 and^G2532 whosoever^{G3956 G3588} loveth^G25 him^G3588 that begat^G1080 loveth^G25 him^G3588 also^G2532 that is begotten^G1080 of^G1537 him.^G846
