And I will make^H7760 thy seed^H2233 as the dust^H6083 of the earth:^H776 so that^H834 if a man^H376 can^H3201 number^H4487 the dust^H6083 of the earth,^H776 then may thy seed^H2233 also be numbered.^H4487

For they covered^H3680 the face^H5869 of the whole earth,^H776 so that the land^H776 was darkened;^H2821 and they did eat^H398 every herb^H6212 of the land,^H776 and all the fruit^H6529 of the trees^H6086 which the hail^H1259 had left:^H3498 and there remained^H3498 not any green thing,^H3418 either tree^H6086 or herb^H6212 of the field,^H7704 through all the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

And they slew^H2026 the kings^H4428 of Midian^H4080 with^H5921 the rest of their slain:^H2491 Evi,^H189 and Rekem,^H7552 and Zur,^H6698 and Hur,^H2354 and Reba,^H7254 the five^H2568 kings^H4428 of Midian:^H4080 Balaam^H1109 also the son^H1121 of Beor^H1160 they slew^H2026 with the sword.^H2719

Nevertheless Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 would^H14 not hearken^H8085 unto Balaam;^H1109 but Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 turned^H2015 the curse^H7045 into a blessing^H1293 unto thee, because Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 loved^H157 thee.

Then Balak^H1111 the son^H1121 of Zippor,^H6834 king^H4428 of Moab,^H4124 arose^H6965 and fought^H3898 against Israel:^H3478 and he sent^H7971 and called^H7121 Balaam^H1109 the son^H1121 of Beor^H1160 to curse^H7043 you;

because they met^H6923 not the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 with bread^H3899 and with water,^H4325 but hired^H7936 Balaam^H1109 against them, to curse^H7043 them: howbeit our God^H430 turned^H2015 the curse^H7043 into a blessing.^H1293

O my people,^H5971 remember^H2142 now what Balak^H1111 king^H4428 of Moab^H4124 devised,^H3289 and what Balaam^H1109 the son^H1121 of Beor^H1160 answered^H6030 him; [remember] from Shittim^H7851 unto Gilgal,^H1537 that ye may know^H3045 the righteous^H6666 acts of Jehovah.^H3068

Woe^G3759 unto them!^G846 For^G3754 they went^G4198 in the way^G3598 of Cain,^G2535 and^G2532 ran riotously^G1632 in the error^G4106 of Balaam^G903 for hire,^G3408 and^G2532 perished^G622 in the gainsaying^G485 of Korah.^G2879
