Sanctify^H6942 unto me all the first-born,^H1060 whatsoever openeth^H6363 the womb^H7358 among the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 both of man^H120 and of beast:^H929 it is mine.

and it came to pass, when Pharaoh^H6547 would hardly^H7185 let us go,^H7971 that Jehovah^H3068 slew^H2026 all the first-born^H1060 in the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 both the first-born^H1060 of man,^H120 and the first-born^H1060 of beast:^H929 therefore I sacrifice^H2076 to Jehovah^H3068 all that openeth^H6363 the womb,^H7358 being males;^H2145 but all the first-born^H1060 of my sons^H1121 I redeem.^H6299

All that openeth^H6363 the womb^H7358 is mine; and all thy cattle^H4735 that is male,^H2142 the firstlings^H6363 of cow^H7794 and sheep.^H7716

And thou shalt take^H3947 the Levites^H3881 for me (I am Jehovah)^H3068 instead of all the first-born^H1060 among the children^H1121 of Israel;^H3478 and the cattle^H929 of the Levites^H3881 instead of all the firstlings^H1060 among the cattle^H929 of the children^H1121 of Israel:^H3478

And I, behold, I have taken^H3947 your brethren^H251 the Levites^H3881 from among^H8432 the children^H1121 of Israel:^H3478 to you they are a gift,^H4979 given^H5414 unto Jehovah,^H3068 to do^H5647 the service^H5656 of the tent^H168 of meeting.^H4150

while the Egyptians^H4714 were burying^H6912 all their first-born,^H1060 whom Jehovah^H3068 had smitten^H5221 among them: upon their gods^H430 also Jehovah^H3068 executed^H6213 judgments.^H8201
