And his father^H1 had not displeased^H6087 him at any time^H3117 in saying,^H559 Why hast thou done so?^H6213 and he was also a very^H3966 goodly^H2896 man; and he was born^H3205 after^H310 Absalom.^H53

He that gathereth^H103 in summer^H7019 is a wise^H7919 son;^H1121 [But] he that sleepeth^H7290 in harvest^H7105 is a son^H1121 that causeth shame.^H954

He that begetteth^H3205 a fool^H3684 [doeth it] to his sorrow;^H8424 And the father^H1 of a fool^H5036 hath no joy.^H8055

Train up^H2596 a child^H5288 in the way^H1870 he should go,^H6310 And even when he is old^H2204 he will not depart^H5493 from it.

Withhold^H4513 not correction^H4148 from the child;^H5288 [For] if thou beat^H5221 him with the rod,^H7626 he will not die.^H4191

He that delicately bringeth up^H6445 his servant^H5650 from a child^H5290 Shall have him become a son^H4497 at the last.^H319
