Pride^H1347 [goeth] before^H6440 destruction,^H7667 And a haughty^H1363 spirit^H7307 before^H6440 a fall.^H3783

Seest^H7200 thou a man^H376 wise^H2450 in his own conceit?^H5869 There is more hope^H8615 of a fool^H3684 than of him.

He hath showed^H5046 thee, O man,^H120 what is good;^H2896 and what doth Jehovah^H3068 require^H1875 of thee, but to do^H6213 justly,^H4941 and to love^H160 kindness,^H2617 and to walk^H3212 humbly^H6800 with thy God?^H430

The Pharisee^G5330 stood^G2476 and prayed^G4336 thus^G5023 with^G4314 himself,^G1438 God,^G2316 I thank^G2168 thee,^G4671 that^G3754 I am^G1510 not^G3756 as^G5618 the rest^G3062 of men,^G444 extortioners,^G727 unjust,^G94 adulterers,^G3432 or^G2228 even^G2532 as^G5613 this^G3778 publican.^G5057

through^G1223 whom^G3739 we received^G2983 grace^G5485 and^G2532 apostleship,^G651 unto^G1519 obedience^G5218 of faith^G4102 among^G1722 all^G3956 the nations,^G1484 for^G5228 his^G846 name's^G3686 sake;

For^G1063 I would^G2309 not,^G3756 brethren,^G80 have^G2309 you^G5209 ignorant^G50 of this^G5124 mystery,^G3466 lest^{G2443 G3361} ye be^G5600 wise^G5429 in^G3844 your own conceits,^G1438 that^G3754 a hardening^G4457 in^G575 part^G3313 hath befallen^G1096 Israel,^G2474 until^G891 the fulness^G4138 of the Gentiles^G1484 be come in;^G1525

Be of^G5426 the same^G846 mind^G5426 one^G240 toward^G1519 another.^G240 Set not^G3361 your mind^G5426 on high things,^G5308 but^G235 condescend^G4879 to things that are lowly.^G5011 Be^G1096 not^G3361 wise^G5429 in^G3844 your own conceits.^G1438

According to^G2596 the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 which^G3588 was given^G1325 unto me,^G3427 as^G5613 a wise^G4680 masterbuilder^G753 I laid^G5087 a foundation;^G2310 and^G1161 another^G243 buildeth thereon.^G2026 But^G1161 let^G991 each man^G1538 take heed^G991 how^G4459 he buildeth thereon.^G2026

Only,^{G1487 G3361} as^G5613 the Lord^G2316 hath distributed^G3307 to each man,^G1538 as^G5613 God^G2962 hath called^G2564 each,^G1538 so^G3779 let him walk.^G4043 And^G2532 so^G3779 ordain I^G1299 in^G1722 all^G3956 the churches.^G1577

But^G1161 by the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 I am^G1510 what^G3739 I am:^G1510 and^G2532 his^G846 grace^G5485 which was bestowed upon^G1519 me^G1691 was^G1096 not^G3756 found vain;^G2756 but^G235 I labored^G2872 more abundantly^G4053 than they^G846 all:^G3956 yet^G1161 not^G3756 I,^G1473 but^G235 the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 which was^G3588 with^G4862 me.^G1698

For^G1063 if^G1487 a man^G5100 thinketh^G1380 himself to be^G1511 something^G5100 when he is^G5607 nothing,^G3367 he deceiveth^G5422 himself.^G1438

whereby,^G3739 when^G4314 ye read,^G314 ye can^G1410 perceive^G3539 my^G3450 understanding^G4907 in^G1722 the mystery^G3466 of Christ;^G5547

But^G1161 unto each^G1538 one^G1520 of us^G2257 was the grace^G5485 given^G1325 according to^G2596 the measure^G3358 of the gift^G1431 of Christ.^G5547

[ doing] nothing^G3367 through^G2596 faction^G2052 or^G2228 through vainglory,^G2754 but^G235 in lowliness of mind^{G5012 G2233} each^G240 counting^G2233 other^G240 better^G5242 than himself;^G1438

And^G2532 you,^G5209 being^G5607 dead^G3498 through^G1722 your^G3588 trespasses^G3900 and^G2532 the uncircumcision^G203 of your^G5216 flesh,^G4561 you, [I say], did he make alive together^G4806 with^G4862 him,^G846 having forgiven^G5483 us^G5213 all^G3956 our trespasses;^G3900

In like manner,^{G5615 G2532} that^G2885 women^G1135 adorn^G2885 themselves^G1438 in^G1722 modest^G2887 apparel,^G2689 with^G3326 shamefastness^G127 and^G2532 sobriety;^G4997 not^G3361 with^G1722 braided hair,^G4117 and^G2228 gold^G5557 or^G2228 pearls^G3135 or^G2228 costly^G4185 raiment;^G2441

that^G1511 aged men^G4246 be^G1511 temperate,^G4998 grave,^G4586 sober-minded,^G4998 sound^G5198 in faith,^G4102 in love,^G26 in patience:^G5281

the younger men^G3501 likewise^G5615 exhort^G3870 to be sober-minded:^G4993

But^G1161 he giveth^G1325 more^G3173 grace.^G5485 Wherefore^G1352 [the scripture] saith,^G3004 God^G2316 resisteth^G498 the proud,^G5244 but^G1161 giveth^G1325 grace^G5485 to the humble.^G5011

But^G1161 the end^G5056 of all things^G3956 is at hand:^G1448 be ye^G4993 therefore^G3767 of sound mind,^G3525 and^G2532 be sober^G4993 unto^G1519 prayer:^G4335

Likewise,^G3668 ye^G240 younger,^G3501 be subject^G5293 unto the elder.^G4245 Yea,^G1161 all^G3956 of you gird yourselves with^G1463 humility,^G5012 to serve one another:^G5293 for^G3754 God^G2316 resisteth^G498 the proud,^G5244 but^G1161 giveth^G1325 grace^G5485 to the humble.^G5011

I wrote somewhat unto^G1125 the church:^G1577 but^G235 Diotrephes,^G1361 who loveth to have the preeminence^G5383 among them,^G846 receiveth^G1926 us^G2248 not.^G3756
