They shall teach^H3384 Jacob^H3290 thine ordinances,^H4941 And Israel^H3478 thy law:^H8451 They shall put^H7760 incense^H6988 before^H639 thee, And whole burnt-offering^H3632 upon thine altar.^H4196

Come,^H3212 ye children,^H1121 hearken^H8085 unto me: I will teach^H3925 you the fear^H3374 of Jehovah.^H3068

And further,^H3148 because the Preacher^H6953 was wise,^H2450 he still taught^H3925 the people^H5971 knowledge;^H1847 yea, he pondered,^H239 and sought out,^H2713 [and] set in order^H8626 many^H7235 proverbs.^H4912

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 I have made^H5414 thee a watchman^H6822 unto the house^H1004 of Israel:^H3478 therefore hear^H8085 the word^H1697 at my mouth,^H6310 and give them warning^H2094 from me.

Who^G5101 then^G687 is^G2076 the faithful^G4103 and^G2532 wise^G5429 servant,^G1401 whom^G3739 his^G846 lord^G2962 hath set^G2525 over^G1909 his^G846 household,^G2322 to give^G1325 them^G846 their food^G5160 in^G1722 due season?^G2540

And^G1161 the Lord^G2962 said,^G2036 Who^G5101 then^G687 is^G2076 the^G3623 faithful^G4103 and^G2532 wise^G5429 steward,^G3623 whom^G3739 his lord^G2962 shall set^G2525 over^G1909 his^G846 household,^G2322 to give^G1325 them their portion of food^G4620 in^G1722 due season?^G2540

Now^G1161 in^G1722 these^G3778 days,^G2250 when the number^G4129 of the disciples^G3101 was multiplying,^G4129 there arose^G1096 a murmuring^G1112 of the Grecian^G1675 Jews against^G4314 the Hebrews,^G1445 because^G3754 their^G846 widows^G5503 were neglected^G3865 in^G1722 the daily^G2522 ministration.^G1248

how^G5613 I shrank^G5288 not from declaring unto you^G5213 anything^G3762 that was profitable,^G4851 and^G2532 teaching^G1321 you^G5213 publicly,^G1219 and^G2532 from^G2596 house^G3624 to house,^G3624

And^G2532 God^G2316 hath set^G5087 some^{G3739 G3303} in^G1722 the church,^G1577 first^G4412 apostles,^G652 secondly^G1208 prophets,^G4396 thirdly^G5154 teachers,^G1320 then^G1899 miracles,^G1411 then^G1534 gifts^G5486 of healings,^G2386 helps,^G484 governments,^G2941 [divers] kinds^G1085 of tongues.^G1100

And^G2532 he^G846 gave^G1325 some^G3303 [to be] apostles;^G652 and^G1161 some,^G3588 prophets;^G4396 and^G1161 some,^G3588 evangelists;^G2099 and^G1161 some,^G3588 pastors^G4166 and^G2532 teachers;^G1320

And^G2532 say^G2036 to Archippus,^G751 Take heed to^G991 the ministry^G1248 which^G3739 thou hast received^G3880 in^G1722 the Lord,^G2962 that^G2443 thou fulfil^G4137 it.^G846

The bishop^G1985 therefore^G3767 must^G1163 be^G1511 without reproach,^G423 the husband^G435 of one^G1520 wife,^G1135 temperate,^G3524 sober-minded,^G4998 orderly,^G2887 given to hospitality,^G5382 apt to teach;^G1317

Let^G515 the elders^G4245 that rule^G4291 well^G2573 be counted worthy^G515 of double^G1362 honor,^G5092 especially^G3122 those who labor^G2872 in^G1722 the word^G3056 and^G2532 in teaching.^G1319

And^G1161 the Lord's^G2962 servant^G1401 must^G1163 not^G3756 strive,^G3164 but^G235 be^G1511 gentle^G2261 towards^G4314 all,^G3956 apt to teach,^G1317 forbearing,^G420

The elders^{G4245 G3588} among^G1722 you^G5213 I exhort,^G3870 who^G3588 am a fellow-elder,^G4850 and^G2532 a witness^G3144 of the sufferings^G3804 of Christ,^G5547 who am also^G2532 a partaker^G2844 of the glory^G1391 that shall^G3195 be revealed:^G601
