Wherefore kick^H1163 ye at my sacrifice^H2077 and at mine offering,^H4503 which I have commanded^H6680 in my habitation,^H4583 and honorest^H3513 thy sons^H1121 above me, to make yourselves fat^H1254 with the chiefest^H7225 of all the offerings^H4503 of Israel^H3478 my people?^H5971

And the messenger^H4397 that went^H1980 to call^H7121 Micaiah^H4321 spake^H1696 to him, saying,^H559 Behold, the words^H1697 of the prophets^H5030 [declare] good^H2896 to the king^H4428 with one^H259 mouth:^H6310 let thy word^H1697 therefore, I pray thee, be like one^H259 of theirs, and speak^H1696 thou good.^H2896

The opening^H6608 of thy words^H1697 giveth light;^H215 It giveth understanding^H995 unto the simple.^H6612

The simple^H6612 believeth^H539 every word;^H1697 But the prudent^H6175 man looketh well^H995 to his going.^H838

that say^H559 to the seers,^H7200 See^H7200 not; and to the prophets,^H2374 Prophesy^H2372 not unto us right things,^H5229 speak^H1696 unto us smooth things,^H2513 prophesy^H2372 deceits,^H4123

Therefore will I give^H5414 their wives^H802 unto others,^H312 and their fields^H7704 to them that shall possess^H3423 them: for every one from the least^H6996 even unto the greatest^H1419 is given^H1214 to covetousness;^H1215 from the prophet^H5030 even unto the priest^H3548 every one dealeth^H6213 falsely.^H8267

And it came to pass the same year,^H8141 in the beginning^H7225 of the reign^H4467 of Zedekiah^H6667 king^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 in the fourth^H7243 year,^H8141 in the fifth^H2549 month,^H2320 that Hananiah^H2608 the son^H1121 of Azzur,^H5809 the prophet,^H5030 who was of Gibeon,^H1391 spake^H559 unto me in the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 in the presence^H5869 of the priests^H3548 and of all the people,^H5971 saying,^H559

[ to wit], the prophets^H5030 of Israel^H3478 that prophesy^H5012 concerning Jerusalem,^H3389 and that see^H2374 visions^H2377 of peace^H7965 for her, and there is no peace,^H7965 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

They feed^H398 on the sin^H2403 of my people,^H5971 and set^H5375 their heart^H5315 on their iniquity.^H5771

Oh that there were one among you that would shut^H5462 the doors,^H1817 that ye might not kindle^H215 [fire on] mine altar^H4196 in vain! I have no^H2600 pleasure^H2656 in you, saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 neither will I accept^H7521 an offering^H4503 at your hand.^H3027

Beware^G4337 of^G575 false prophets,^G5578 who^G3748 come^G2064 to^G4314 you^G5209 in^G1722 sheep's^G4263 clothing,^G1742 but^G1161 inwardly^G2081 are^G1526 ravening^G727 wolves.^G3074

For^G1063 there shall arise^G1453 false Christs,^G5580 and^G2532 false prophets,^G5578 and^G2532 shall show^G1325 great^G3173 signs^G4592 and^G2532 wonders;^G5059 so as to lead astray,^G4105 if^G1487 possible,^G1415 even^G2532 the^G1588 elect.^G1588

If^G1437 any man^G5100 serve^G1247 me,^G1698 let him follow^G190 me;^G1698 and^G2532 where^G3699 I^G1473 am,^G1510 there^G1563 shall^G2071 also^G2532 my^G1699 servant^G1249 be:^G2071 if^G1437 any man^G5100 serve^G1247 me,^G1698 him^G846 will^G5091 the Father^G3962 honor.^G2532

For^G1063 we are^G2070 not^G3756 as^G5613 the many,^G4183 corrupting^G2585 the word^G3056 of God:^G2316 but^G235 as^G5613 of^G1537 sincerity,^G1505 but^G235 as^G5613 of^G1537 God,^G2316 in the sight^G2714 of God,^G2316 speak we^G2980 in^G1722 Christ.^G5547

But^G1161 I fear,^G5399 lest by any means,^G3381 as^G5613 the serpent^G3789 beguiled^G1818 Eve^G2096 in^G1722 his^G846 craftiness,^{G3834 G3779} your^G5216 minds^G3540 should be corrupted^G5351 from^G575 the simplicity^G572 and the purity that is^G3588 toward^G1519 Christ.^G5547

For^G1063 am I^G3982 now^G737 seeking the favor^G3982 of men,^G444 or^G2228 of God?^G2316 or^G2228 am I striving^G2212 to please^G700 men?^{G444 G1063} if^G1487 I^G700 were still^G2089 pleasing^G700 men,^G444 I should^G302 not^G3756 be^G2252 a servant^G1401 of Christ.^G5547

whose^G3739 end^G5056 is perdition,^G684 whose^G3739 god^G2316 is the belly,^G2836 and^G2532 [whose] glory^G1391 is in^G1722 their^G846 shame,^G152 who^G3588 mind^G5426 earthly things.^G1919

knowing^G1492 that^G3754 from^G575 the Lord^G2962 ye shall receive^G618 the recompense^G469 of the inheritance:^{G2817 G1063} ye serve^G1398 the Lord^G2962 Christ.^G5547

wranglings^G3859 of men^G444 corrupted^G1311 in mind^G3563 and^G2532 bereft^G650 of the truth,^G225 supposing that^G3543 godliness^G2150 is^G1511 a way of gain.^G4200

For^G1063 men^G444 shall be^G2071 lovers of self,^G5367 lovers of money,^G5366 boastful,^G213 haughty,^G5244 railers,^G989 disobedient^G545 to parents,^G1118 unthankful,^G884 unholy,^G462

James,^G2385 a servant^G1401 of God^G2316 and^G2532 of the Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547 to the twelve^G1427 tribes^G5443 which are of the Dispersion,^G1290 greeting.^G5463

but^G1161 chiefly^G3122 them that walk^G4198 after^G3694 the flesh^G4561 in^G1722 the lust^G1939 of defilement,^G3394 and^G2532 despise^G2706 dominion.^G2963 Daring,^G5113 self-willed,^G829 they G0 tremble^G5141 not^G3756 to rail^G987 at dignities:^G1391

Beloved,^G27 believe^G4100 not^G3361 every^G3956 spirit,^G4151 but^G235 prove^G1381 the spirits,^G4151 whether^G1487 they are^G2076 of^G1537 God;^G2316 because^G3754 many^G4183 false prophets^G5578 are gone out^G1831 into^G1519 the world.^G2889

These^G3778 are^G1526 they who are hidden rocks^G4694 in^G1722 your^G5216 love-feasts^G26 when they feast with^G4910 you,^G5213 shepherds that without fear^G870 feed^G4165 themselves;^G1438 clouds^G3507 without water,^G504 carried along^G4064 by^G5259 winds;^G417 autumn^G5352 leaves^G1186 without fruit,^G175 twice^G1364 dead,^G599 plucked up by the roots;^G1610
