A Psalm of Asaph. Surely God^H430 is good^H2896 to Israel,^H3478 [Even] to such as are pure^H1249 in heart.^H3824

Hear^H8085 ye this, O house^H1004 of Jacob,^H3290 who are called^H7121 by the name^H8034 of Israel,^H3478 and are come forth^H3318 out of the waters^H4325 of Judah;^H3063 who swear^H7650 by the name^H8034 of Jehovah,^H3068 and make mention^H2142 of the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 but not in truth,^H571 nor in righteousness^H6666

And she conceived again,^H2029 and bare^H3205 a daughter.^H1323 And [Jehovah] said^H559 unto him, Call^H7121 her name^H8034 Lo-ruhamah;^H3819 for I will no more^H3254 have mercy^H7355 upon the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 that I should^H5375 in any wise pardon^H5375 them.

Jesus^G2424 saw^G1492 Nathanael^G3482 coming^G2064 to^G4314 him,^G846 and^G2532 saith^G3004 of^G4012 him,^G846 Behold,^G1492 an Israelite^G2475 indeed,^G230 in^G1722 whom^G3739 is^G2076 no^G3756 guile!^G1388

But^G1492 if thou^G4771 bearest the name^G2028 of a Jew,^G2453 and^G2532 restest^G1879 upon the law,^G3551 and^G2532 gloriest^G2744 in^G1722 God,^G2316

But [it is] not^G3756 as^G3634 though^{G1161 G3754} the word^G3056 of God^G2316 hath come to nought.^G1601 For^G1063 they are not^G3756 all^{G3956 G1537} Israel,^G2474 that^{G3588 G3778} are of Israel:^G2474

which^G3739 also after a true likeness^G499 doth^G4982 now^G3568 save^G4982 you,^G2248 [even]^G2532 baptism,^G908 not^G3756 the putting away^G595 of the filth^G4509 of the flesh,^G4561 but^G235 the interrogation^G1906 of a good^G18 conscience^G4893 toward^G1519 God,^G2316 through^G1223 the resurrection^G386 of Jesus^G2424 Christ;^G5547
