but in very^H199 deed^H5668 for this cause have I made thee to stand,^H5975 to show^H7200 thee my power,^H3581 and that my name^H8034 may be declared^H5608 throughout all the earth.^H776

Jehovah^H3068 is slow to anger,^H750 and abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness,^H2617 forgiving^H5375 iniquity^H5771 and transgression;^H6588 and that will by no means^H5352 clear^H5352 [the guilty], visiting^H6485 the iniquity^H5771 of the fathers^H1 upon the children,^H1121 upon the third^H8029 and upon the fourth^H7256 generation.

Who knoweth^H3045 the power^H5797 of thine anger,^H639 And thy wrath^H5678 according to the fear^H3374 that is due unto thee?

Because sentence^H6599 against an evil^H7451 work^H4639 is not executed^H6213 speedily,^H4120 therefore the heart^H3820 of the sons^H1121 of men^H120 is fully set^H4390 in them to do^H6213 evil.^H7451

Wherefore^G5620 ye witness^G3140 to yourselves,^G1438 that^G3754 ye are^G2075 sons^G5207 of them that slew^G5407 the prophets.^G4396

Or^G2228 despisest^G2706 thou the riches^G4149 of his^G846 goodness^G5544 and^G2532 forbearance^G463 and^G2532 longsuffering,^G3115 not knowing^G50 that^G3754 the goodness^G5543 of God^G2316 leadeth^G71 thee^G4571 to^G1519 repentance?^G3341

Or hath^G2192 not^G3756 the potter^G2763 a right^G1849 over the clay,^G4081 from the same^G846 lump^G5445 to^G1519 make^G4160 one^G3303 part a vessel^G4632 unto^G1519 honor,^G5092 and^G1161 another^G3739 unto^G1519 dishonor?^G819

For^G3754 God^{G2316 G5087} appointed^G5087 us^G2248 not^G3756 into^G1519 wrath,^G3709 but^G235 unto^G1519 the obtaining^G4047 of salvation^G4991 through^G1223 our^G2257 Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547

and,^G2532 A stone^G3037 of stumbling,^G4348 and^G2532 a rock^G4073 of offence;^G4625 for they^G3739 stumble^G4350 at the word,^G3056 being disobedient:^G544 whereunto^G1519 also^G2532 they were appointed.^G5087
