Then said^H559 Judah^H3063 to Tamar^H8559 his daughter-in-law,^H3618 Remain^H3427 a widow^H490 in thy father's^H1 house,^H1004 till Shelah^H7956 my son^H1121 be grown^H1431 up; for he said,^H559 Lest he also die,^H4191 like his brethren.^H251 And Tamar^H8559 went^H3212 and dwelt^H3427 in her father's^H1 house.^H1004

Whithersoever they went out,^H3318 the hand^H3027 of Jehovah^H3068 was against them for evil,^H7451 as Jehovah^H3068 had spoken,^H1696 and as Jehovah^H3068 had sworn^H7650 unto them: and they were sore^H3966 distressed.^H3334

For day^H3119 and night^H3915 thy hand^H3027 was heavy^H3513 upon me: My moisture^H3955 was changed^H2015 [as] with the drought^H2725 of summer.^{H7019 H5542}
