And the Lord came downe in a cloude, and spake vnto him, and toke of the spirite that was vpon him, and gaue it vnto the threscore & ten elders: And when the spirite rested vpon them, they prophesied, and dyd not ceasse.

And when the childre of the prophetes which were at Iericho sawe him from a farre, they sayde, The spirite of Elias doth rest on Elisa: And they came to meete him, and fel to the grounde before him,

yea though he lyue long and see not the graue.

Who made heauen and earth, the sea and all that therin is: who mainteyneth the trueth for euer.

Hearken vnto me ye that haue knowledge in ryghteousnesse, thou people that bearest my lawe in thyne heart: feare not the reuilynges of men, be not afrayde of their blasphemies.

Let your lyght so shyne before men, that they may see your good workes, and glorifie your father, whiche is in heauen.

For it is thanke worthy, yf a man for coscience toward god, endure griefe, and suffer wrong vndeserued.

And that with mekenesse and feare, hauyng a good conscience: that where as they backebite you as euyll doers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conuersation in Christe.

And many shall folowe their damnable wayes, by whom the way of trueth shalbe euyll spoken of:
