TSK · 2 Chronicles 17:6

Because thou seruedst not the Lorde thy God with ioyfulnesse, and with a good heart, when thou haddest aboundaunce of all thinges.

And Asa did that was good & right in the eyes of the Lorde his God.

But al the high places were not taken away out of Israel, though the heart of Asa was perfect all his dayes.

Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for the people had not yet prepared their heartes vnto the God of their fathers.

In the eyght yere of his raigne, when he was yet a childe, he began to seke after the God of Dauid his father: And in the twelfth yere he began to purge Iuda & Hierusalem from the high places, groues, carued images, and images of metall.

Because I had kept the wayes of God: and had not wickedly shronke from my God.

Yea they wyll sing of the wayes of God: for great is the glory of God.

And sayde: O full of all subtiltie and all mischiefe, thou chylde of the deuyll, thou enemie of all righteousnesse, wylt thou not cease to peruert the wayes of the Lorde?
