Unto Adam he sayde: Because thou hast hearkened vnto the voyce of thy wyfe, and hast eaten of the tree concernyng the whiche I commaunded thee, saying, thou shalt not eate of it, cursed is the grounde for thy sake, in sorowe shalt thou eate of it all the dayes of thy lyfe.
And Solomon had twelue officers ouer all Israel, which prouided vittayles for the king and his houshold: eche man his moneth in a yere, made prouision for necessarie thinges.
He causeth grasse to growe for cattell: and hearbes for the vse of man.
There is plenteousnesse of foode in the fieldes of the poore: but the fielde not well ordered, is without fruite.
He that tylleth his lande shall haue plenteousnes of bread: but he that foloweth idle persons, shall haue pouertie inough.
All the labour that a man taketh, is for him selfe, and yet his desire is neuer fylled after his mynde.
