And the Lorde saide: I haue surely seene the trouble of my people which are in Egypt, and haue heard their crie from the face of their taske maisters: for I knowe their sorowes,
And the people beleued. And when they hearde that the Lorde had visited the children of Israel, and had looked vpon their tribulation, they bowed the selues, and worshipped.
And when we cryed vnto the Lorde God of our fathers, the Lorde hearde our voyce, and loked on our aduersitie, labour, and oppression.
It may be that the Lorde will loke on myne affliction, and do me good for his cursing this day.
For God knoweth the way of the righteous: and the way of the vngodly shall perishe.
Thou hast not shut me vp into the hande of the enemie: but hast set my feete in a large roome.
And then wyll I confesse vnto them, I neuer knewe you: Depart from me, ye that worke iniquitie.
