My sonne, if sinners entice thee, consent not vnto them.

That thou mayest be deliuered also from the straunge woman, and from her that is not thine owne, which geueth sweete wordes,

My sonne, kepe thy fathers commaundement, and forsake not the lawe of thy mother:

But whoso committeth adultrie with a woman, lacketh vnderstanding: and he that doth it, destroyeth his owne soule.

Let not thyne heart wander in her wayes, and be not thou deceaued in her pathes.

A man that wyll haue frendes, must shewe hym selfe frendly: and there is a frende whiche is nearer then a brother.

My sonne geue me thyne heart, and let thyne eyes haue pleasure in my wayes:
