At that tyme Iesus aunswered and sayde: I thanke thee O father, Lorde of heauen and earth, because thou hast hid these thinges from the wise and prudent, and hast shewed them vnto babes.
He aunswered and sayde vnto them: Haue ye not read, that he which created at the begynnyng, made them male and female,
And he sayde vnto them: Haue ye neuer read what Dauid did, when he had nede, and was an hungred, both he, and they that were with hym?
Then gathered the hye priestes and the pharisees a councell, and sayde: What do we? For this man doth many miracles.
