Then were the horse hoofes smitten asunder by the meanes of the praunsings that their mightie men made.

And truely euery battayle that the warrier maketh, is done with confused noyse: and defiling their garmentes with blood but this battayle shalbe with burning and consuming of fire.

The shewe of him is as the shewe of horses, and like horsemen, so shall they runne.

The shielde of his valiaunt souldiours is died red, his captaynes of warre are clad with scarlet: the charret is compassed with flammig torches in the day of his expedition, and the firre staues are drenched in poyson.
