I will destroy him who priuily slaundereth his neighbour: I wyll not suffer hym who hath a proude loke and a great stomacke.

He that kepeth his mouth, kepeth his lyfe: but who so rashlye openeth his lippes, destroyeth hym selfe.

The wordes of a slaunderer are very woundes, and go through vnto the innermost partes of the body.

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: euen so where the talebearer is taken away, there the strife ceasseth.
