Esau sayde: lo, I am at the poynt to dye, and what profite shall this byrthryght do me?

Many thinges there be that encrease vanitie, and what hath a man els?

Ye haue saide: it is but vayne to serue God, and what profite is it that we haue kept his commaundement, & that we haue walked humbly before the face of the Lorde of hoastes?

If I haue fought with beastes at Ephesus after the maner of men, what auauntageth it me, yf the dead ryse not agayne? Let vs eate & drynke, for to morowe we shall dye.
