TSK · Proverbs 10:1

These are the prouerbes of Salomon the sonne of Dauid kynge of Israel:

An vnwyse body bryngeth himselfe in to sorowe, and ye father of a foole can haue no ioye.

An vndiscrete sonne is ye heuynes of his father, & a braulynge wife is like the topp of an house, where thorow it is euer droppynge.

(for a righteous father is maruelous glad of a wyse sonne, & delyteth in hi)

These also are Salomons prouerbes, which the men of Ezechias kinge of Iuda gathered together.

The rodde and correccion mynistre wy?dome, but yf a childe be not loked vnto, he bryngeth his mother to shame.

The same preacher was not wyse alone, but taught the people knowlege also: he gaue good hede, sought out the groude and set forth many parables.
