Whan he seyth and fyndeth, that there is whyte rysen vp in the skynne, and the hayre turned vnto whyte, and there be rawe flesh in the sore,

An vnwyse man wil not knowe this, & a foole wil not vnderstode it.

O what a loue haue I vnto thy lawe? all the daye longe is my talkynge of it.

Yf wy?dome entre in to thine herte, and yi soule delyte in knowlege:

I am louynge vnto those that loue me, and they that seke me early, shal fynde me.

Who so reproueth a scornefull personne, getteth him self dishonoure: and he that rebuketh the vngodly, stayneth himself.

He that forsaketh ye right strete, shalbe sore punyshed: & who so hateth correccion, falleth in to death.

An oxe knoweth his LORDE, and an Asse his masters stall, but Israel knoweth nothinge, my people hath no vnderstondinge.
