TSK · Proverbs 17:8

two hudreth she goates, twentye he goates, two hundreth shepe, twentye rammes

Esau sayde: I haue ynough my brother, kepe that thou hast.

Thou shalt not take giftes: for giftes blinde euen them yt are sharpe of sight, & wraist the righteous causes.

So Dauid toke of hir hade what she had broughte him, and sayde vnto her: Go vp in peace vnto yi house: beholde, I haue herkened vnto yi voyce, and accepted thy personne.

He sent downe fro the heyth to fetch me, & toke me out of greate waters.

Be thou exalted (LORDE) in thine owne strength, so wil we synge and prayse thy power.

The vngodly taketh giftes out of the bosome, to wraist the wayes of iudgment.

A preuy rewarde pacifieth displeasure, and a gifte in the bosome stilleth furiousnesse.

as for the multitude of youre wickednesses and youre stoute synnes, I knowe them right well. Enemies are ye off the rightuous, ye take rewardes, ye oppresse the poore in iudgment.
