And there ranne a man of Beniamin out of the armie, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and earth vpon his head.

Then Dauid tooke hold on his clothes, & rent them, and likewise al the men that were with him.

So when they lift vp their eyes a farre off, they knewe him not: therefore they lift vp their voyces and wept, and euery one of them rent his garment, and sprinkled dust vpon their heads toward the heauen.

For thou shalt goe foorth from thence, and thine hands vpon thine head, because the Lorde hath reiected thy confidence, and thou shalt not prosper thereby.
