Heare thou in heauen thy dwelling place, and doe according to all that the stranger calleth for vnto thee, that all the people of the earth may knowe thy Name, and feare thee like thy people Israel, and that they may knowe, that thy Name is called vpon in this house which I haue built.

Let my prayer be directed in thy sight as incense, and the lifting vp of mine hands as an euening sacrifice.

I haue not spoken in secrete, neither in a place of darkenes in the earth: I saide not in vaine vnto the seede of Iaakob, Seeke you me: I the Lord doe speake righteousnesse, and declare righteous things.

Then spake they that feared the Lorde, euery one to his neighbour, and the Lorde hearkened & heard it, and a booke of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought vpon his Name.

And as they were afraide, & bowed downe their faces to the earth, they sayd to them, Why seeke ye him that liueth, among the dead?

And sayd, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine almes are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

Be nothing carefull, but in all thinges let your requestes be shewed vnto God in praier, and supplication with giuing of thankes.

For God is not vnrighteous, that hee should forget your worke, and labour of loue, which ye shewed toward his Name, in that ye haue ministred vnto the Saints, and yet minister.

And the smoke of the odours with the prayers of the Saintes, went vp before God, out of the Angels hand.
