They were ware of it, and fled vnto Lystra, and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and vnto the region round about,

Then came he to Derbe and to Lystra: and beholde, a certaine disciple was there named Timotheus, a womans sonne, which was a Iewesse and beleeued, but his father was a Grecian,

And the brethren immediatly sent away Paul and Silas by night vnto Berea, which when they were come thither, entred into ye Synagogue of the Iewes.

For they had seene before Trophimus an Ephesian with him in the citie, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the Temple.

Timotheus my helper, and Lucius, and Iason, and Sosipater my kinsemen, salute you.

Pavl an Apostle of Iesvs Christ, by the will of God, and our brother Timotheus, to the Church of God, which is at Corinthus with all the Saints, which are in all Achaia:

Whether any doe inquire of Titus, he is my fellowe and helper to you ward: or of our brethren, they are messengers of the Churches, and the glorie of Christ.

And I trust in the Lorde Iesus, to sende Timotheus shortly vnto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I knowe your state.

Aristarchus my prison fellow saluteth you, and Marcus, Barnabas cousin (touching whom ye receiued commandements. If he come vnto you, receiue him)

To Timotheus my beloued sonne: Grace, mercie and peace from God the Father, and from Iesus Christ our Lorde.
