Beholde, my seruants shal sing for ioye of heart, and ye shal crye for sorow of heart, and shal howle for vexation of minde.

Blessed are they which suffer persecution for righteousnes sake: for theirs is the kingdome of heauen.

But all these things will they doe vnto you for my Names sake, because they haue not knowen him that sent me.

Neither that onely, but also we reioyce in tribulations, knowing that tribulation bringeth forth patience,

For vnto you it is giuen for Christ, that not onely ye should beleeue in him, but also suffer for his sake,

Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.

But reioyce, in asmuch as ye are partakers of Christs suffrings, that when his glory shall appeare, ye may be glad and reioyce.
