For we are stragers before thee, & soiourners, like all our fathers: our dayes are like ye shadowe vpon the earth, & there is none abiding.

By faith he abode in the land of promes, as in a strange countrey, as one that dwelt in tents with Isaac and Iacob heires with him of the same promes.

Dearely beloued, I beseeche you, as strangers and pilgrims, absteine from fleshly lusts, which fight against the soule,
