Then Moses sayde vnto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will bee sanctified in the that come neere me, & before all the people I will be glorified: but Aaron held his peace.
But if he thus say, I haue no delite in thee, behold, here am I, let him doe to me as seemeth good in his eyes.
Beholde, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt bee put in thy graue in peace, and thine eyes shall not see all the euill, which I will bring vpon this place, & vpon the inhabitants of the same. Thus they brought ye King word againe.
I should haue bene dumme, and not haue opened my mouth, because thou didest it.
Wherefore then is the liuing man sorowfull? man suffreth for his sinne.
Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, The fast of the fourth moneth, and the fast of the fift, and the fast of the seuenth, & the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Iudah ioy & gladnes, & prosperous hie feasts: therefore loue the trueth & peace.
