Make thee two trumpets of siluer: of an whole piece shalt thou make the, that thou mayest vse them for the assembling of the Congregation, and for the departure of the campe.

But if ye blow an alarme, then the campe of the that pitch on the East part, shal go forward.

But when I heard this saying, I rent my clothes and my garment, and pluckt off the heare of mine head, and of my beard, and sate downe astonied.

My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.

Howle you, for the day of the Lorde is at hande: it shall come as a destroier from the Almightie.

For all these things hath mine hand made, and all these things haue bene, sayth the Lorde: and to him will I looke, euen to him, that is poore, and of a contrite spirite and trembleth at my wordes.

Declare in Iudah, and shewe forth in Ierusalem, and say, Blowe the trumpet in the lande: cry, and gather together, and say, Assemble your selues, and let vs goe into strong cities.

They shal not stretch out the hands for the in the mourning to comfort them for the dead, neither shal they giue them the cup of consolation to drinke for their father or for their mother.

Thus saith the Lorde God, Beholde, one euil, euen one euill is come.

The time is come, the day draweth neere: let not the byer reioyce, nor let him that selleth, mourne: for the wrath is vpon al the multitude thereof.

Cry, and houle, sonne of man: for this shall come to my people, and it shal come vnto all the princes of Israel: the terrours of the sword shall be vpon my people: smite therefore vpo thy thigh.

But if the watchman see the sworde come, and blowe not the trumpet, and the people be not warned: if the sworde come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away for his iniquitie, but his blood will I require at the watchmans hande.

O Lorde, according to all thy righteousnes, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy wrath be turned away from thy citie Ierusalem thine holy Mountaine: for because of our sinnes, & for the iniquities of our fathers, Ierusalem and thy people are a reproche to all that are about vs.

Blowe ye the trumpet in Gibeah, and the shaume in Ramah: crie out at Beth-auen, after thee, O Beniamin.

Alas: for the day, for the day of the Lord is at hand, and it commeth as a destruction from the Almightie.

So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, mine holy Mountaine: then shall Ierusalem bee holy, and there shall no strangers go thorowe her any more.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I sayd, A basket of sommer fruite. Then sayd the Lorde vnto me, The ende is come vpon my people of Israel, I wil passe by them no more.

Be stil at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, and hath sanctified his ghests.

A day of the trumpet and alarme against the strong cities, and against the hie towres.

Thus saith the Lord, I wil returne vnto Zion, & wil dwel in the mids of Ierusalem: & Ierusalem shalbe called a citie of trueth, & the Mountaine of the Lord of hostes, the holy Mountaine.

Wherefore my beloued, as ye haue alwayes obeyed me, not as in my presence only, but now much more in mine absence, so make an end of your owne saluation with feare and trembling.

Be ye also patient therefore and settle your hearts: for ye comming of the Lord draweth nere.
