TSK · John 16:7

Thou art gone vp on high: thou hast led captiuitie captiue, and receiued giftes for men: yea, euen the rebellious hast thou led, that the Lorde God might dwell there.

And I tell you of a suretie, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they haue seene the kingdome of God.

( This spake hee of the Spirite which they that beleeued in him, should receiue: for the holy Ghost was not yet giuen, because that Iesus was not yet glorified.)

Nor yet doe you consider that it is expedient for vs, that one man die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

And I wil pray the Father, and he shal giue you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for euer,

Ye haue heard howe I saide vnto you, I goe away, and will come vnto you. If ye loued me, ye would verely reioyce, because I said, I goe vnto the Father: for the Father is greater then I.

And when he had gathered them together, he commaunded them, that they should not depart from Hierusalem, but to waite for the promise of the Father, which sayde hee, yee haue heard of me.

Then Peter opened his mouth, and sayd, Of a trueth I perceiue, that God is no accepter of persons.

For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie:
